CodeQuest is a summer coding camp in Windsor for grade school students in grades 5-8. Our mission is to inspire and empower youth to explore the field of computer science at an affordable price. CodeQuest runs July 24-28 at 1407 Ottawa St. in the lower level of the TD building from 9 AM to 3 PM where students learn through fun lessons and activities. Alan Bui
Alan Bui is a Massey student who completed the grades 10-12 computer science courses each with a grade of 100%. Additionally, he has made the national honour roll for UWaterloo’s Canadian Computing Competition two times. He is one of Stanford’s Code in Place section leaders, teaching Python to a class with people from all over the globe. He has also been teaching at the Vincent Massey Computer Science Club for the last year and has been part of it for the last 3 years. His skills range from algorithms, to game development, to web development. Having taught multiple computer science classes, Alan enjoys inspiring motivated students and helping them take their first steps into the world of computer science!
Jacob Gaisinsky
Jacob Gaisinsky is a Massey student and teacher at the Vincent Massey Computer Science Club. He is also a mentor at CodeReach, a program that teaches web development to middle school students. Jacob is proficient in Python, Java, C++, C#, and JavaScript. He enjoys creating games with Unity, Pygame, and Java Swing as well as exploring algorithms and data structures for computer science competitions. Jacob looks forward to helping students explore computer science in a fun-filled week of learning!
Isaac Jiang
Isaac Jiang is a Massey student who has achieved 100% in his grade 12 computer science studies. Holding a teaching role at STEMist Education, he passionately imparts his expertise, nurturing aspiring minds within the realm of computer science. Isaac is an active contributor to the Massey computer science club, teaching the Junior stream. Furthering his passion, he delves into research at the University of Windsor under the guidance of Dr. Fani. Isaac hopes to use his abilities to teach and inspire future computer scientists.
Savio Joseph Benher
Savio Joseph Benher is a massey student who has achieved a 99% in his grade 12 computer science courses. Additionally, he interns as a senior website developer at STEMist, an organziation based in San Jose, California. He is also a Computer Science student researcher at UWindsor. While also working as a computer science instructor at STEMist, Savio aims to utilize his teaching skills in computer science to motivate and encourage the next wave of aspiring coders!
Jerry Jiang
Jerry Jiang is a massey student who has achieved a 99% in his high school computer science courses. Jerry is proficient in programming, having created a rocket calculator in Python for rocket designs that gained the attention of Elon Musk. Jerry also enjoys creating games with Pygame and learning numerically-focused programming with SciPy. As a CodeQuest instructor, Jerry hopes to teach and inspire the next wave of computer programmers!
Eric Sun
Eric Sun is a Massey student with a strong background in leadership and mentoring. Having gained valuable experience as a soccer assistant coach and a piano teacher, he brings skills in fostering teamwork and communication. Eric is passionate about engaging participants in non-computer science activities aimed to help every participant feel comfortable and have a great experience.
